The FFNHA is made up of volunteer partners from the 41 counties of western Missouri and eastern Kansas who guide estate planning and execution. The Heritage Foundation is once again facilitating this work, but as our dozens of partners and hundreds of authors will attest, this book is the work of the entire conservative movement. The Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation (LCTHF), Inc. was created to stimulate public appreciation of the contributions of the Lewis and Clark expedition to the heritage of the United States and to support education, research, development, and the preservation of the Lewis and Clark experience.

The Foundation acts as an advocate, interpreter and protector of the trail. The Northeast Missouri Children's Defense Center serves children who report sexual abuse, physical abuse, and children who witness violence. Bill's interest in Lewis and Clark stems from his family, which appreciated both Western history and Native American history and culture.

He is proud to participate in the Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation and enjoys bringing history to others. The main sub-theme is the Border War between Missouri and Kansas, which consists of interpretations of the years of difficult balance established by the Missouri Compromise, which left the future slave status of the territory in the hands of the colonists and gave way to the Civil War. Other subtopics include Shaping the Frontier, which interprets this place where river trips ended and merchants, miners, and emigrants began their long walks overland beyond Missouri's western border; The Enduring Struggles for Freedom, which interpret stories from this place that have inspired national policies and ongoing efforts to ensure equal freedoms for all Americans; and Protect our Borders and Reduce Crime, Protect Life and Unborn Families. These heritage areas begin with Freedom Frontier National Heritage as local initiatives, which are ultimately authorized by Congress and managed by the National Park Service. That same year, people who had been part of the Commission and its state committees established the Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation as the main group that would succeed it. He joined the Riverbend Chapter of MO-KS and the Lewis & Clark Trail Heritage Foundation and is currently a member of both boards of directors. The groups interviewed for this study included private property rights advocates such as The Heritage Foundation, The American Land Rights Association, The United States Private Property Foundation. He has been active in several Lewis & Clark organizations since early 1990s & frequently canoes through Missouri River's famous “White Cliffs” area sharing his knowledge about geography & Expedition's travels through this geological wonder.
